Without hesitation, she grabbed the enormous lamb and proudly carried it all the way to the register. Her parents couldn’t believe what they were seeing—this tiny pup, with her toy that was at least three times her size, strutting through the store as if she owned the place.
When they reached the counter, Lucy stood on her back legs, placing her front paws on the counter as if she was ready to pay herself. The cashier rang up her prized toy, and after Dad handed over the cash, it was officially hers.
But Lucy wasn’t done yet. Her mom placed the lamb on the floor and told her to pick it up. And Lucy, as determined as ever, grabbed the giant toy and began carrying it toward the door. She stumbled a few times, losing her grip, but she never gave up. With her mom cheering her on, she proudly made it all the way to the car, lamb in tow.
